Japanese Company Develops Fart Absorbing Underwear

Pretty simple and effective invention. The Japanese company Seiren developed a series of special deodorizing undershorts called Inoidore Shukan Shoshu that can reduce odor by 80 percent in 30 seconds.The underpant consists of a special textile that contains ceramic particles and metallic ions with fibers, which helps absorb stink particles.

Though it might be a lil expensive at Y4,800, but hey sometime you got to hide "it". Well, it still can’t remove the sound, which is perhaps worse than the smell. Made and sold only in Japan

“Mizuno Garden” is a new line of sensual objects. It includes condoms, lotions and in the future it will include lingerie, costumes and toys.

Tokyo based Japanese illustrator Junko Mizuno has designed the beautiful illustrations.  The products are being sold in Japan and some other Asian countries only.

These items may not be hot gadgets but are certainly hot (toys).

It is compatible with XP and Vista and records up to 30-hours of 352x288 resolution video in .avi format.

With good imagination, it can used to capture funny office moments and embarrassing ones too. Grab this nectie and feel important (ala Sherlock Holmes) and take sly videoes of your boss's secretary.

Transparent keyboard phone from LG

A cellphone with a transparent keyboard may be neat but somehow I don't dig it. What about the prying eyes of people who might be seeing you tying ? The new LG-GD900 phone with improved UI and transparent keyboard was introduced as a concept at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

 

These pictures more than tell the story. My guess is the novelty should soon wear off. Anyway if you are planning to attend the CTIA 2009 tradeshow in Las Vegas, then you will get the chance to play with this baby. That's LG promise to you.

Bikinis made from plastic bottles hot in Japan

Dont throw away your plastic bottles just yet. 'Coz you might just become a supplier of plastic to environment friendly bikini makers.  Asahi Kasei, a chemical giant based in Tokyo has announced an environmentally friendly product of the very special kind: swimsuits .

The lovely models (Ayumi Kura, 20, on the left and eighteen-year-old Shi Weng Lu on the right) are wearing bikinis made of polyethylene tephthalate. Did you know that Polyethylene tephthalate (PET) is the stuff they use to make plastic bottles !!

Asahi Kasei claims the swimsuits they make from PET (marketed under the brand name Sunplay ECO) are very quick to dry and offer a high level of elasticity. According to the company, Sunplay products have a better environmental footprint by using less oil and releasing less carbon dioxide in the production process.

All very nice, huh and whats more being environment friendly can be sexy.:-). Now word yet on when it's gonna hit the market and fill the breasts.

This is latest in the series of weird USB memory gadgets. Midori is pretty cool. Wouldn't mind one for my desk. Besides being a USB device, it also will double up as a cute desktop object, huh? You will be able to store up to 2GB of DATA by popping the head off (ouch!!).

Umbrella lockers in Japan

The Japanese ingenuity impresses me in strange and unusual ways. Japan is a rainy country and there are a LOT of umbrellas out there.

And, well, umbrellas get wet;-) and it can get messy when you need to carry them into malls or restaurants. So what do you do. You just do not carry them all the way in and make the floors wet and slushy like in other countries. In Japan, do what the Japanese do. Use the umbrella lockers. There are many varieties out there like this one here in front of a fancy restaurant.

 

And these can be seen in many office and hotel buildings.
