In Japan, it is also common to see cell phone accessories like chains, etc that are shaped like food items especially cookies, sweets, etc. Sweet food items are the most in fashion. Items like cupcakes, candies, cocktails, chocolates, etc are especially in demand and sell like "hot cakes". :-)
Quite mind boggling to see so many crazy accessories. I love to see them and they never cease to amaze me. As you can well understand, it is so easy to fall in love with Japan.
